I just realized I know a lot less about typography and web type than I thought. It’s incredible the level of detail that can goes into design, ‘specially for the web. Glad I watched this as I continue to fiddle with type on this site. A must watch.

The Makings of a New Site
This is V3 of derrickkempf.com and I am barely starting to update and tweak this site to showcase a more current portfolio of my work. I will be adding projects and posts in the coming weeks and doing in little by little. I’ve spent too long just letting my old site sit there and collect dust, and I’ve spent too much time trying to plan out time to try and come up with a plan to update it. So, now I am going to be doing it here and there and one piece at a time. Hopefully this will evolve and grow into a more permanent showcase of my work. Check back in an enjoy!
