Grain & Gram has been a site I frequent for a while now, but for some reason I keep finding myself going back to it. Oh yeah, the reason is because it’s incredibly well done. Design aside, this blog features not only top-notch craftsmen, but also candid dialog and beautifully shot videos (with the soundtrack to accompany it) that showcase some of the featured people. Makes me feel more like a gentleman.

I just realized I know a lot less about typography and web type than I thought. It’s incredible the level of detail that can goes into design, ‘specially for the web. Glad I watched this as I continue to fiddle with type on this site. A must watch.

I will be adding projects and posts in the coming weeks and doing in little by little. I’ve spent too long just letting my old site sit there and collect dust, and I’ve spent too much time trying to plan out time to try and come up with a plan to update it. So, now I am going to be doing it here and there and one piece at a time. Hopefully this will evolve and grow into a more permanent showcase of my work. Check back in an enjoy!
